TAMPA, FL – Cantrell Schuette has added three attorneys, including a partner who will lead its Federal Employee Rights Practice and two associates strengthening the firm’s Franchise & Commercial Litigation Practice Group.
Sean McFadden joins the firm as a partner and Chair of the Federal Employee Rights Practice Group. He represents federal employees nationwide in discrimination, retaliation, and whistleblower matters, as well as adverse action proceedings, investigations, and appeals. His practice includes representation before the EEOC, the Merit Systems Protection Board, the Office of Special Counsel, and in federal courts, along with advising clients through agency investigations and disciplinary processes.
His experience includes appellate advocacy, with work on petitions for writ of certiorari to the U.S. Supreme Court, including Babb v. Wilkie. He also handles state-level employment matters, including proceedings before the Florida Public Employees Relations Commission and related appeals.
The firm has also expanded its Franchise & Commercial Litigation Practice Group with the addition of two associates, David Petrantoni and Megan M. Frain.
David Petrantoni focuses on complex business and franchise litigation including franchise negotiations, shareholder and contract disputes, restrictive covenant litigation, and matters involving fraud-related investigations and international construction disputes. He previously served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Eduardo Sanchez of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida and has practiced at firms in Tampa Bay and Miami.
Megan M. Frain focuses on commercial litigation, including disputes involving franchisees and related business matters. She previously practiced at one of Florida’s largest law firms, where she honed her litigation skills.
