Peter Linton-Smith | Paralegal

Peter Linton-Smith is a paralegal with more than ten years of experience. He has assisted litigating cases in the state and federal courts in Florida as well as United States District Courts nationwide. Peter’s background working with clients who have been discriminated against in the workplace makes him uniquely suited for his role here at Cantrell Schuette, P.A. Prior to joining Cantrell Schuette, Peter served as a litigation paralegal at one of the largest law firms in the country.

Before entering the legal profession, Peter was a news reporter. He covered the courts extensively. He was also a member of the traveling press corps for two presidential campaigns and covered stories ranging from the NTSB hearings into the crash of TWA Flight 800 to the Steven Avery case that was the subject of the Netflix documentary “Making a Murderer.” Peter grew up in Vero Beach, on Florida’s east coast. He has a degree in political science and a paralegal certification from St. Petersburg College.

Outside the office, Peter is an avid skydiver with thousands of jumps. He’s participated in the United States Parachute Association’s National Championships and spends most weekends (weather permitting) skydiving.
