Jackson Olsen is a commercial litigator focused on franchise and business litigation, with a particular emphasis on representing franchisees in disputes against franchisors. Jackson regularly represents business owners and franchisees in high-stakes disputes involving breach of franchise agreements, fraudulent inducement, misrepresentations in franchise disclosure documents, restrictive covenants, and other complex business torts.
Jackson is an associate at Cantrell Schuette, where his practice focuses predominantly on plaintiff-side representation in commercial disputes, with experience in franchise litigation. He frequently represents franchisees nationwide in disputes with franchisors, including claims involving failure to provide operational support, misrepresentations in financial performance disclosures, and enforcement of restrictive covenants. Jackson also has significant experience handling client mobility disputes, including both the prosecution and defense of non-compete and non-solicitation agreements.
Prior to joining Cantrell Schuette, Jackson worked at several of the nation’s preeminent construction litigation firms, including firms recognized nationally for excellence in construction law. During this time, he represented national developers, general contractors, and local governments in all phases of residential, commercial, and public construction projects. His experience included disputes involving large-scale infrastructural projects, skyscrapers, high-rise condominiums, large-scale residential developments, and complex construction defect and delay claims. This background provides Jackson with a unique and practical perspective in handling complex business disputes and damages analysis.
