David Petrantoni is a litigation associate at Cantrell Schuette, where he focuses his practice on complex business, franchise law, and employment litigation. His experience spans a wide range of disputes, including franchise agreement negotiations, shareholder and contract disputes, restrictive covenant litigation, federal criminal investigations related to fraud and ponzi allegations, and international construction disputes.

David previously served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Eduardo Sanchez of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida. He also previously practiced at a prominent Tampa Bay law firm with local and national focused practices and with a Miami-based boutique law firm, where his work focused on civil litigation and white-collar criminal defense matters.

David’s litigation background is supported by a strong foundation in advocacy. During law school, he competed with the University of Miami’s Trial Advocacy Team and aided clients in the university’s Innocence Clinic.
